ENTER YOUR MEASUREMENTS

Enter each active screen’s width in the same measurement mode. This is a front-view span, not a stand, mounting or desk-load check.

A FRONT-VIEW WIDTH SKETCH

YOUR RESULT

—

Enter your numbers to make a measurement.

Widths share one scale. Screen heights are schematic. Supports, cable clearance and loads are not modeled.

A straight front-view width budget for one to three monitors. Widths must share the chosen measurement mode. “Within width” is not a physical fit or support guarantee. Check stand depth, height, arm reach, clamp compatibility, cable access and stated support requirements separately.

THE MATH, IN PLAIN SIGHT

How it works.

Planned span = sum of outer widths + (screen count − 1) × gap + 2 × edge reserve. In active-panel mode, estimated outer width = entered active width + 2 × bezel allowance. Remaining width = desk width − planned span.

A worked example

Two 24.2 in outer widths, one 1 in gap and 2 in reserved at each end total 53.4 in. On a 60 in desk, 6.6 in remain in that width budget. Add a third identical screen and the planned span becomes 78.6 in, exceeding the budget by 18.6 in.
